The Mortgage & Finance Association of Australia's (MFAA) finalists are out.
The mortgage broking association has announced those in the running for this year's State Excellence Awards.
The state-level awards, now in their 23rd year, honor outstanding brokers and brokerages, support staff, lenders and service providers across 26 areas of recognition. Categories include exceptional BDMs, service providers, community champions, commercial and asset finance brokers, regional brokers, newcomers and more.
The MFAA's Chief Executive Officer Anja Pannek said there was a record number of submissions this year, which is why "finalists should be incredibly proud of their achievements.
“They are leaders who go above and beyond to meet the needs of Australian borrowers," she explained. "These awards recognise members who deliver exceptional outcomes for their clients and communities. Their professionalism and dedication continue to strengthen trust in the mortgage and finance broking industry.”
A panel of judges select the winners based on several factors, such as settlement volumes and contributions to the broader community. The results are audited by advisory firm Hall Chadwick, while members cast their votes for the lender awards.
