Loan Market Group (LMG) is expanding its physical footprint.
Australia's largest aggregator has tapped Jake Robertson — MoneyPlace and ME Bank alum — to be the new Melbourne-based business development manager for Victoria and Tasmania. He has been tasked with working with brokers across both states, helping them work with clients and grow their businesses.
"Jake's experience and relationships make him an outstanding addition to our lending team," said LMG Executive Director and Chief Executive Officer Ewen Stafford. "With a decade of experience working directly with brokers, he is positioned to help the LMG network unlock new solutions within the aggregators's white label offerings.
"He understands what brokers need — speed, flexibility and confidence that their aggregator has their back," Stafford continued. "LMG lending is about giving brokers choice and the tools to compete in every market, and Jake will help make that possible for more businesses across Victoria and Tasmania."
Robertson joins from MoneyPlace, part of Liberty Financial Group, where he also worked as a BDM. Prior to that, he spent more than six years at ME Bank in a variety of roles.
"Joining LMG lending is an exciting opportunity," Robertson said. "I'm here to work closely with brokers to help them find the right lending solutions, get deals moving faster and back brokers in front of clients."
