Lendi Group has appointed Christopher Parker (pictured) as chief operations officer, adding him to the group’s executive leadership team as the business scales its operations and execution capability.
The move brings a wide range of operational and support functions under a single executive at a time when AI-enabled processes and offshore capability are playing a larger role in service and turnaround times.
Parker steps into the expanded role from general manager of credit and operations, where he has led a high‑growth platform and managed increasing complexity across lending operations in Australia and the Philippines.
As COO, he will be responsible for Lendi Group’s end‑to‑end operations engine, spanning client solutions, broker administration, commissions, contact centres, technology services, corporate services, and people functions.
Lendi Group CEO Sebastian Watkins said the promotion reflects both Parker’s track record and the central role of operational excellence in the group’s gr.
“Chris has built Credit and Operations into a high-performing function and has consistently delivered through complexity. He’s a strong leader who cares deeply about our people and our culture, and this role recognises the impact he’s already having on the business,” Watkins said.
The expanded remit brings together credit, broker support, onboarding and accreditation, procurement, facilities, and people teams under a single operating model.
Watkins also highlighted Parker’s role in building the Manila operations hub.
“He’s also played a key role in scaling our operations in Manila, building a model that supports both growth and consistency, and strengthening how we deliver for brokers and customers day to day,” he said.
Parker brings more than a decade in Australian retail banking leadership and six years in San Francisco’s fintech sector, across sales, customer experience and operations. Since joining Lendi Group in 2021, he has helped shape the platform’s “Find, Buy, Own” approach that underpins its broker network and technology stack.
Looking ahead, Parker said operations will be critical as the group accelerates AI adoption across its processes.
“As we continue moving towards becoming an AI-native organisation and expand our Find, Buy, Own strategy, operations plays a central role in how we deliver for customers, brokers, and partners. I’m looking forward to supporting our teams through this next phase and making sure we stay focused on what matters most,” he said.
