Bridgit has appointed Nick Ognenovski as chief revenue officer to oversee its revenue strategy, with a focus on building out its third-party distribution and broker network to support customer access to home equity solutions.

In the newly created executive role, Ognenovski will be responsible for the company’s end-to-end revenue operations. His remit includes the implementation of go-to-market strategies, performance oversight across third-party and direct-to-consumer channels, and the leadership of sales functions to support business growth and operational scale.

Ognenovski described Bridgit as having built a presence in a traditionally complex lending category.

“The business has quickly built a strong reputation for speed, simplicity, and innovation in what is traditionally a complex category, and has made impressive progress in the third-party channel,” he said. “I’m looking forward to building on that momentum, helping brokers and customers unlock even more value, and driving the next phase of growth.”

Ognenovski joins Bridgit with nearly two decades of experience in sales and operations. He previously served as chief operating and revenue officer at Cashrewards, a company formerly listed on the ASX prior to its acquisition by ANZ Bank. During his tenure, he led revenue-generating functions and applied data-led strategies to drive customer acquisition, retention, and revenue performance.

His earlier roles include serving as country manager for Groupon in both Australia and the UAE. He also held senior positions at Samsung and Cisco, where he worked on building and managing teams in competitive, fast-paced markets.

Bridgit CEO Aaron Bassin said Ognenovski’s experience in building revenue channels will support the company’s efforts in working with brokers to help customers access equity in their homes.

“With a people-first leadership style and sharp commercial focus, Nick will play a key role in expanding our reach and delivering exceptional solutions and experiences to our partners. Particularly through our broker network, empowering them to help clients unlock their home equity and move forward,” Bassin added.

Ognenovski’s appointment as chief revenue officer is effective immediately.

The announcement follows Bridgit’s earlier appointment of Stephen Doyle as chief commercial officer. Doyle remains in the role, leading the lender’s commercial strategy, developing strategic partnerships, and managing aggregator and broker relationships. His focus continues to be on expanding Bridgit’s third-party network across Australia.
